Where it stands

Currently I'm under a scalp reset after a month of drought. I'm counting on rain to help with my irrigation bill while I undergo this scalp reset to restore a golf course thick carpet by fall.

Mowing height: Scalp 1/4"
Sun exposure: Full
Irrigation: I recently changed to 3d printed nozzles for mist elimination and full water use on my lawn. I'm currently watering 1" per week with hand watering too post scalp to reset the lawn in the heat of summer.
Soil / root zone: Top inch - Sand/Topsoil 2-4 inches - Topsoil / Aerated sand amendment 4+ inches - Clay/Rocky Native Builder Grade "Soil"
Latest update: Scalped it 8/30 for a reset. Verticut with a dethatcher and applied fertilizer and water.

After leveling with dirt/topdressing for 2 years annually, I did a sand level project and began my reelmowing process. Since then, it’s remained pretty flat and I’ve done light sand leveling.

I plan on sand leveling again next spring to get a perfectly flat lawn again.

My Backyard is our backyard golf practice area / soccer field. It's a work in progress and hasn't had the full process of leveling and dialing like the front has. With it's size, there are tons of possibilities that we'll be working through in the future.

Where it stands

Maintaining as we can through the summer drought. It's in heat stress dormancy due to the heat and lack of water, but it's weed free.

Mowing height: 3 inches
Sun exposure: Full
Irrigation: 3 Zones with Hunter PGP Rotors for coverage with my custom 3d printed nozzles. No mist... but still a big water bill.
Soil / root zone: 2 inches topsoil dirt on top layer 2+ inches Clay/Rock Builder Native "Soil"

Builder Grade Bermuda Tif419 after installation and still going strong. Just needed the right program.

Huge area capable of 30 yard golf shots with a ditch behind, making it a great place to play. Downside is that it is not yet leveled or ready for reel mowing

I have a Hunter PGP rotor and pop up sprayer sprinkler system in ground. I upgraded controller to have WIFI control and have upgraded the nozzles on my heads to save water.
