Correcting a documented deficiency supports normal turf function. It does not compensate for shallow watering, saturated soil, poor drainage, severe compaction, shade, scalping, or an unmanaged disease. Diagnose those limitations directly.
Late-season potassium guidance differs by climate. Clemson, for example, describes a potash application before frost only when a test indicates insufficient potassium. That regional example is not a universal date or rate.
